L'Ufficio stampa della Plenaria - The Press Officer of the Plenary

Nei giorni dell'Assemblea, diversi giornalisti provenienti da varie testate europee hanno seguito in parte o l'insieme dell'Assemblea. Oltre ai lavori dell'Assemblea è stato anche occasione per loro di incontrare alcuni protagonisti della vita ecclesiale in Terra Santa e affrontare alcune questioni urgenti del territorio (la costruzione del muro di separazione nella valle di Cremisan; il taglio al finanziamento delle scuole cattoliche; il fenomeno migratorio in Israel e l'urgenza dei pellegrinaggi in Terra Santa). Decine e decine sonno stati gli articoli, le interviste, le riprese video e le fotografie. Il buon esito della comunicazione dell'evento non sarebbe stato possibile senza l'importante sostegno dell'équipe del Christian Media Center, che i sono occupati di tutte le riprese e della distribuzione dei comunicati ai media locali. Non sarebbe stato possibile senza le traduzioni fornite in arabo dall'Ufficio stampa del Patriarcato di Gerusalemme. Non sarebbe stato possibile senza l'impegno incredibile di Marcin Mazur, il fotografo della Conferenza episcopale d'Inghilterra e del Galles che ci ha seguito per tutto questo nostro peregrinare.
Insomma, la comunicazione della Plenaria è stata un esercizio di collaborazione e di condivisione dei doni di molti protagonisti. A tutti loro il mio particolare grazie.

In the days of the Assembly, several journalists from various European news agents have followed in part or the whole Assembly. In addition to the works of the Assembly, it was also for them an opportunity to meet some pf the 'leaders' of ecclesial life in the Holy Land and to deepen some urgent issues of the territory (the construction of the separation wall in Cremisan valley; the cutting of the financing of Catholic schools; the migration in Israel and the urgency of pilgrimages to the Holy Land). Dozens articles, interviews, video and photographs were produced. The success of the communication of the event would not have been possible without the significant support of the Christian Media Center team, that have dealt with all the filming and distribution of press releases to the local media. It would not have been possible without the translations in Arabic providedby the Press Office of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem. It would not have beenpossible without the incredible commitment of Marcin Mazur, the photographer of the Bishops Conference of England and Wales who followed us for all this our pilgrimage.
In short, the communication of the Plenary was a collaborative exercise and the sharing of the gifts of many protagonists.
